WELCOME TO RAJMN!
Serving the Russian-Speaking Jewish Community since 2003

PROGRAMS

TEEN PROGRAMS
RAJMN’s Teen Programs are at the forefront of the organization’s commitment to developing future Jewish leaders, particularly within the Russian-speaking community. These programs provide a dynamic platform for teens to explore their Jewish identity, develop leadership skills, and become actively engaged in community life. Through the Teen Fellowship, RAJMN helps teenagers in the community develop a sense of purpose, responsibility, and cultural pride, guiding them to take on leadership roles within their families and broader communities.
The fellowship includes monthly educational sessions led by experts in various fields, addressing critical topics such as Jewish history, ethics, leadership development, and social justice. Fellowship members also have the unique opportunity to participate in Jewish conferences, further strengthening their sense of connection to the global community.

Celebrating Culture and Community with all Generations
RAJMN’s programs create a vibrant space for families and individuals of all ages to connect, celebrate, and learn through the rich tapestry of RSJ traditions. By blending cultural and religious elements, these events honor key holidays like Passover, Hanukkah, and Rosh Hashanah, offering interactive experiences such as menorah lighting, festive meals, and storytelling. Through inclusive celebrations, RAJMN strengthens cultural identity and community ties within the RSJ population.
Beyond holiday observances, RAJMN’s initiatives promote intergenerational connections, cultural programming, and volunteer missions. Cultural events, from art workshops and music performances to cooking classes and film screenings, highlight the richness of RSJ heritage in engaging and creative ways. These efforts, alongside partnerships with local organizations and interfaith groups, create a welcoming space for all and contribute to a stronger, more united RSJ community.

Programs for Students, Young Adults and Interfaith
RAJMN empowers RSJ students and young professionals with the resources and connections they need to thrive personally and professionally. Through mentorship programs and networking opportunities, young adults are guided in navigating cultural integration while maintaining a strong connection to their heritage. Working with campuses, Hillel, and Chabad create a supportive campus environment, while cultural and social initiatives encourage exploration of identity and active participation in community life. RAJMN equips young adults to become engaged and impactful members of the RSJ and broader communities.
RAJMN’s interfaith and inclusivity bridges cultural and religious divides. Events that explore different traditions foster mutual respect and deepen connections between Jewish and non-Jewish communities. Together, these efforts strengthen leadership, encourage inclusivity, and advance a more cohesive and understanding society.

ABOUT RAJMN
RAJMN is the only program dedicated to Russian-American Jews in Minnesota, working to connect them to the larger Jewish community in Twin Cities and provide a deeper understanding of Judaism and Russian-Jewish roots and culture since 2003. We serve as a bridge to other Jewish organizations, connecting Russian-American Jews to synagogues, Jewish schools, programs in Israel, Jewish summer camps, volunteering missions, educational conferences and other programs as needed internationally.
